MF9030 Wood Dust
Collection Machine

A wood dust collection machine is only worth installing if it actually keeps up with the machines feeding it. The MF9030 draws from three 100 mm inlets, drops the heavier chips into the lower collection bag, traps the fine dust in the upper filter bag, and returns the cleaned air to the workshop. 3 kW motor, 5,600 m³/h airflow, and it arrives assembled on casters - no fixed installation.

What the MF9030 does with the air in your workshop

Every cutting, sanding and edge banding operation produces two different things: heavy chips that fall, and fine dust that stays in the air. A single-stage bag collector handles both in one pass.

One pass, two separations

Nothing about a bag collector is complicated. What matters is that each stage does its job without the next stage working against it.

1. Air is drawn from the inlets

A 300 mm fan driven by a 3 kW pure copper motor pulls air through three 100 mm inlets. In a workshop the inlets are normally run as a single header with blast gates, so one collector can serve several machines instead of one unit per machine.

2. Heavy chips drop out first

Heavier material loses velocity as it enters the body and falls into the lower collecting bag. Taking the bulk out first is what keeps the filter bag from loading up within a single shift.

3. Fine dust is trapped above

What is left is the fraction that matters most for air quality. The upper filter bag traps particles down to 0.3 micron at up to 99.97% efficiency, which is the range where airborne wood dust is hardest to capture and worst to breathe.

4. Clean air goes back to the workshop

The unit is not ducted to the outside, so the workshop does not lose heated air in winter and you do not need to cut a hole in the wall. There is no exhaust duct to plan around.

5. Emptying without tools

The lower bag uses a quick-connect fitting with an elastic band. Emptying it is a hands-on job of a couple of minutes rather than a maintenance task, which is the difference between a collector people actually use and one they leave switched off.

6. On casters, wherever it is needed

Four casters and a one-piece moulded base mean the collector is repositioned rather than installed. That matters in a shop where the layout changes as the order book changes.

MF90 series technical specifications

The MF9030 is the model most workshops start with. Step up through the range as the number of

extraction points and the length of ducting increase.

The parts that decide whether a collector gets used

Pure copper motor

The motor uses copper windings rather than aluminium, is permanently lubricated and fan-cooled, and is rated for continuous duty. A dust collector runs for as long as the machines it serves, so this is the specification that decides how many years you get.

One-piece moulded housing and base

The base plate and the fan housing are moulded as single pieces rather than assembled from welded sections. Fewer joints means less vibration and fewer places for air to leak between the fan and the collection bags.

300 mm impeller

The impeller is sized to move 5,600 m³/h through the standard three-inlet configuration. On a short direct hose run the pressure loss is low, which is why this model copes with a panel saw and an edge bander running from one header.

Bags that come off by hand

Quick-connect collection bags with an elastic band, so emptying is done without tools and without dismantling the machine. Replacements are a standard consumable we keep in stock.

Automatic switch

The MF9030 can be wired to start and stop together with a woodworking machine drawing up to 3 kW, so the collector is not running when nothing is cutting. It saves power and, more usefully, removes one more thing an operator has to remember.

Standard electricals

The electrical components are common branded parts rather than a proprietary assembly, so an electrician in your own country can identify and replace them. Voltage and plug type are set for your market before the machine ships.

Single-bag or twin-bag, your choice

The same machine is supplied in a single-bag and a twin-bag configuration. Twin bags give you more filter area and a longer interval between emptyings; the single-bag version is the more compact unit for a shop where the collector sits beside one machine.

Filter area matched to your run time - more bags means less frequent bag changes

Both configurations on casters, so the unit moves with the layout of the shop

Replacement bags held in stock as a standard consumable

Paint colour and logo can be specified for OEM and ODM orders

Six workshops that get the most from this collector

If your work looks like any of these, the MF9030 is worth a serious look. If it looks like none of them, tell us what you actually run - we would rather point you at the right model than sell you this one.

Small cabinet and joinery shops

One or two machines, a collector that can be rolled to whichever is running, and a bag that is emptied by hand in a couple of minutes. This is the shop the MF9030 is sized for.

Panel saw owners

A panel saw produces a heavy chip load in a short burst. Three inlets let you dedicate one to the saw and keep two free for whatever else is running.

Edge banding stations

Edge banding produces both chips and fine dust from the trimming units, and the extraction points sit close together. A short header run from one collector covers the whole station.

CNC router and nesting cells

Where the cutting head moves, the extraction point has to follow it. A collector with enough airflow at the shoe keeps the cut clean and stops fine dust settling over the whole cell.

Sanding and drilling stations

Sanding produces the finest fraction, which is where the 0.3 micron rating stops being a specification and starts being the reason you bought the machine.

Shops adding a station, not a line

When an existing collector is at capacity, adding a second MF9030 is usually cheaper and faster than re-piping the whole shop around a larger central unit.

Packed for the route, loaded to fill the container

Wood dust collection machine packed in a reinforced wooden crate for export

From our floor to yours

Every unit is run and checked before it is packed. Machines travel in a reinforced crate sized for container loading, and because a dust collector is a compact unit it is usually shipped alongside edge banding machines, drilling machines or other equipment rather than occupying a container on its own.

Tested before packing, not just assembled and boxed

One-piece moulded base and housingtravel with less risk of transit damage

What buying from the factory actually changes

You reach the technical team

Configuration questions go to the people who build the machine, not through a reseller. Pre-sales consultation is free, and our sales engineers are trained on the equipment.

Configuration before quotation

We ask about the number of extraction points, the ducting run and the material you cut before recommending a model, rather than sending a generic price for a generic unit.

Layout advice, not just a machine

We help work out how the collector sits in your shop and how the ducting reaches each machine, so it does not become a bottleneck the week after installation.

Installation and training

Detailed installation guidance is supplied, and senior engineers can be dispatched for on-site commissioning and operator training.

Support after the sale

24/7 online technical support with spare parts held in inventory, plus scheduled equipment inspections and remote diagnostics. Replacement bags are kept as a standard stock item.

An established export process

Manufacturing since 2010, we ship to Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and South America, so documentation, packing and loading are routine rather than experimental.

Frequently asked questions

What is a wood dust collection machine used for?

A wood dust collection machine captures the chips and airborne dust produced by sawing, sanding, drilling and edge banding. It separates the heavier material into a lower collection bag and traps the fine fraction in the upper filter bag, then returns the cleaned air to the workshop.

How do I choose between the MF9030 and the larger models?

Match the model to the number of extraction points and the length of ducting rather than to the size of the workshop. The MF9030, at 3 kW and 5600 m3/h with three inlets, suits a single machine or a small shop. Step up to the MF9040, MF9055 or MF9075 as inlet count and ducting length increase.

What does a 0.3 micron filtration rating mean?

It means the filter bag is rated to capture particles down to 0.3 micron, with efficiency up to 99.97% in that range. For woodworking this matters because the finest dust is the fraction that stays airborne longest and is hardest to breathe.

Can the collector switch on automatically with my machines?

The MF9030 has an automatic switch that starts and stops the collector together with a woodworking machine drawing up to 3 kW, so it is not running when nothing is cutting.

Is this a cyclone dust collector?

No. The MF90 series is a single-stage bag collector: heavy chips drop into the lower collection bag and fine dust is trapped by the upper filter bag. A cyclone separates material using a conical vortex and is a different design, so we describe this series as a bag-type collector rather than a cyclone.

How many extraction points can one collector serve?

The MF9030 is supplied with three 100 mm inlets. The MF9040 has four, and the MF9055 and MF9075 each have six. In a panel furniture workshop the inlets are usually run as one header with blast gates, so several machines share a single collector instead of one unit per machine.

How is the machine packed and shipped?

Every unit is packed in a reinforced crate sized for container loading and can be shipped alongside other equipment. The MF9030 packs into a 1420 x 495 x 645 mm crate at 52 kg gross.

Can you supply OEM or ODM versions?

Yes. Paint colour, logo placement, voltage and inlet configuration can all be built to your specification. Confirm your requirements when ordering.
