To better utilize existing mechanized equipment and improve its performance to achieve optimal results, and to further enhance the operational skills of our mine's employees, this drilling machine operating procedure is hereby established.
Preparations before starting the machine:
① Carefully check that all parts of the drilling machine are complete.
② Check for loose screws.
③ Check that the lubricating oil level is sufficient.
④ Check that the control buttons are flexible and reliable.
⑤ Check for damage to the drill rod and drill bit.
⑥ Check for breakage in the hole support frame.
⑦ Check that the spray system is properly installed.
Normal start-up:
① Run the drilling machine idle for 1 to 2 minutes, carefully listening for any abnormal noises or disturbances.
② Drill slowly at low speed.
③ If there are no abnormalities at low speed and there are no intercalations in the coal seam, the drilling speed can be adjusted appropriately. If the coal seam consistently contains intercalations with high hardness, only low speed should be used.
